This is a book that has been needed by those of us in the restoration end of the VW hobby for a long time. Original issues bring big bucks, and there aren't many of them left. I guard my copy with my life. Just about every question that can come up during the restoration of an Oval Window is answered . . . Not only does this book show the original engine, tranny, and brake stuff, but it also shows how to replace a window winder mechanism or adjust a door. There are large readable wiring diagrams, with all the specifications. If you've got an Oval, you've got to have this book. -- Hot VW's Magazine - April 1999
